Begin in Entebbe and Jinja, where you’ll explore the country’s gateway city and visit the Source of the Nile, before continuing to Murchison Falls for game drives and a Nile boat safari. Entebbe | City Tour & Wildlife Education

Arrive in Entebbe and begin your Uganda experience with a city tour, taking in local markets and historical landmarks. Continue to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre to see a variety of rescued animals native to Uganda. It’s an easy introduction to the country before your journey into Uganda’s national parks begins.

Entebbe to Jinja | Source of the Nile & City Exploration

Travel to Jinja, one of Uganda’s best-known destinations and home to the Source of the Nile. Visit the area around the river’s source before exploring Jinja’s streets and local atmosphere. The day combines one of Uganda’s most recognised natural landmarks with time to experience the character of this historic riverside town.

DAY 3

Jinja to Murchison Falls | Journey into the Wild

Leave Jinja and travel towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s wildlife country. As you make your way north, the landscapes change from town and farmland to the open spaces of the national park. Settle in and prepare for the wildlife experiences ahead, including game drives and a Nile boat safari.

Murchison Falls National Park | Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari

Start with a game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, looking for elephants, lions, giraffes and other wildlife. Later, take to the Nile on a boat safari towards Murchison Falls. From the water, you’ll see the river’s wildlife and experience the falls from a different perspective.

Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park | Journey to the Chimpanzee Forest

Travel from Murchison Falls towards Kibale National Park, one of Uganda’s key destinations for chimpanzee encounters. Arrive in the forest region, settle into your lodge and prepare for the following day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.

Kibale National Park | Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp

Head into Kibale National Park for a chimpanzee trek through the lush rainforest, searching for chimpanzees in their natural environment. In the afternoon, continue to Bigodi Swamp for a guided nature walk, with opportunities to see birds, primates and other wildlife along the way.

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park | Journey to the Savannah

Leave Kibale and travel towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The landscape changes as you move from the rainforest into Uganda’s savannah country. Arrive in the park and settle in, ready for the wildlife and Kazinga Channel experience that follows.

Queen Elizabeth National Park | Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park on a game drive, looking for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a rewarding way to see hippos, birds and other wildlife gathered around the water.

Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi | Journey into Gorilla Country

Travel from Queen Elizabeth National Park towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to endangered mountain gorillas. As you approach the forest, Uganda’s landscapes become increasingly mountainous and green. Settle in and prepare for one of the defining experiences of the journey: gorilla trekking.

Today is dedicated to gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. AWESOME Experience! This was the second time I have worked with Zacc and Paanvuu Safaris in Uganda. This time, we traveled with my wife and daughter who were making their first visit to Africa. Zacc and Paanvuu had EVERYTHING arranged perfectly so that there was nothing for us to do but enjoy an amazing experience! Fantastic First Experience of Africa! Paanvu was incredible and our driver Zaac did an amazing job at showing us some incredible sights, Safari’s, and waterfalls as well as being extremely knowledgeable about everything we got to explore! He was very positive the entire trip and took good care of us while we were able to explore the beauty of Uganda! 10/10 would go again!

Really great time, very well put together! This was my first safari ever and it was so good!! We had Zac taking us (2 ppl) and he was brilliant, super punctual and very knowledgeable about how to find specific animals on the trails. The vehicle was perfect, very comfortable to travel in but worked really well for safari too as the roof could be raised. We had so so much fun and would defo do it all over again <3

Paanvuu and Zacc are the best! I have been on several safaris and this one was one of the best! Zacc took great care of our entire team, answering questions, taking care of all arrangements, driving safely, and providing a great experience. We visited Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda where we took two game drives and a boat safari. We saw many animals UP CLOSE and really got to experience the best of Africa. Loved every moment! Zacc was an extraordinary guide. He spotted animals and made sure we had a moment to stop along the road to have a good look and take photos. He provided information and respectfully answered all our group’s questions. Water was always available in the van. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the trip along the way. There were times in our trip that required careful driving. I felt entirely safe and comfortable with Zac’s driving. He was kind, fun, and a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend Paanvuu Safari and hope to use them again in the future!
