Begin with a morning journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking experience among Uganda’s endangered black and white rhinos. Learn about the sanctuary’s conservation work before continuing towards Murchison Falls National Park. In the afternoon, head out on a sunset game drive across the savannah, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Murchison Falls to Budongo Forest | Chimpanzee Trekking & Nile River Cruise
Start with chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest, following your guide through the rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees. Later, take to the Nile for a boat safari, passing hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife before reaching the base of Murchison Falls. An optional hike to the top of the falls offers another perspective on the river and surrounding landscape.
Murchison Falls National Park | Sunrise Game Drive & Farewell
Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out on a sunrise game drive. The cooler morning hours offer a chance to see wildlife beginning the day, including lions, elephants and giraffes. After the drive, return to the lodge, marking the end of your Murchison Falls adventure.
