Arrive in Entebbe and begin your Uganda experience with a city tour, taking in local markets and historical landmarks. Continue to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre to see a variety of rescued animals native to Uganda. It’s an easy introduction to the country before your journey into Uganda’s national parks begins.
Entebbe to Jinja | Source of the Nile & City Exploration
Travel to Jinja, one of Uganda’s best-known destinations and home to the Source of the Nile. Visit the area around the river’s source before exploring Jinja’s streets and local atmosphere. The day combines one of Uganda’s most recognised natural landmarks with time to experience the character of this historic riverside town.
Jinja to Murchison Falls | Journey into the Wild
Leave Jinja and travel towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s wildlife country. As you make your way north, the landscapes change from town and farmland to the open spaces of the national park. Settle in and prepare for the wildlife experiences ahead, including game drives and a Nile boat safari.
Murchison Falls National Park | Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari
Start with a game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, looking for elephants, lions, giraffes and other wildlife. Later, take to the Nile on a boat safari towards Murchison Falls. From the water, you’ll see the river’s wildlife and experience the falls from a different perspective.
Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park | Journey to the Chimpanzee Forest
Travel from Murchison Falls towards Kibale National Park, one of Uganda’s key destinations for chimpanzee encounters. Arrive in the forest region, settle into your lodge and prepare for the following day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.
Kibale National Park | Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp
